Dog Walking in the Community
Recently we have been asked to explain the dog walking policy in our community. We follow the same guide lines as the City of Evans and Columbia County.
They state:
1) Dogs are to be walked on a lease unless on your own property at which time they must either be attended too or on a restraint sufficient to hold the animal.
2) Animals must be vaccinated and the vaccination must be current.
3) Animal droppings must be removed by the owner of the animal and not be left on others’ property.
These are just a few guidelines to be followed. Be a good neighbor, pick up after your animal.

2012 Memorial Day, Monday, May 28th - Regular Household & Recycling service. No Yard Waste service 5/29/12 & 5/30/12
2012 Independence Day, Wednesday, July 4th -Household & Recycling: Wednesday residents will be serviced Thursday. No Yard Waste service 4/03/12 & 04/04/12
2012 Labor Day, Monday, September 3rd - Regular Household & Recycling service. No Yard Waste 09/04/2012 & 09/05/2012.
2012 Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 22nd -
Household & Recycling: Thursday residents will be serviced Friday. Friday residents will be serviced Saturday.
2012 Christmas Day, Tuesday, December 25th -
Household & Recycling: Tuesday residents will be serviced Friday 12/28/12 - No Yard Waste service 12/25/12 & 12/26/12
2013 New Year’s Day, Tuesday, January 1st -
Household & Recycling: Tuesday residents will be serviced Friday 1/4/13 - No Yard Waste service 1/01/13 & 1/02/13

NOTICE: Columbia County residents may not use water outdoors between the hours of 10 am and 4 pm.
Penalties for Violating the Water Conservation Ordinance
First Offense Written Warning
Second Offense $100 Fine
Third Offense $200 Fine
Fourth and Subsequent Offenses Disconnection of Service

| Highgrove Cares
We have started a program called Highgrove Cares to help our Highgrove Neighbors that may be in need of assistance.
If you or someone you know in our community needs assistance, you can email the Highgrove Cares Committee at Highgrovecares@gmail.com. The Committee is comprised of two HOA Board Members. Anyone that submits their name will be contacted by one of the two board members. Names of Families will be kept strictly confidential.
We will keep this page current with latest information on the program.
